 Getting to Cabra Castle from Dublin:
It will take approximately 1.5 hours drive from Dublin to Cabra Castle. Take the N3 when leaving Dublin city. If you are travelling to Cabra Castle from Dublin Airport, then take the M50 to reach the N3 junction.
Travelling along the N3 will bring you through the towns of Dunshaughlin and then Navan. In Navan, turn right at the third set of traffic lights to take you onto the R162.
This road will bring you to a small village called Wilkinstown, followed by another town called Nobber, and then onto Kingscourt. When you arrive in Kingscourt, take a right at the second roundabout onto the Carrickmacross road. The avenue to Cabra Castle is located approximately 1.8 miles from Kingscourt on the right hand side.
Getting to Cabra Castle from Dublin Airport:
If you are travelling to Cabra Castle from Dublin Airport, then you can take the M1 motorway as far as Ardee. When you reach Ardee, take the N52 for approximately 4 miles to meet the cross-roads for the N52. Here you take a right onto the R165. This road will bring you through Drumcondrath, then after approximately 9 miles onto the R179 (Kingscourt - Carrickmacross road) where you take a right. Cabra Castle is situated approximately 1 mile down this road on the right hand side.
